INDOOR CYCLING INSTRUCTOR

Part time position.  Looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, and fun individuals to teach indoor cycling classes. This is your opportunity to be part of something truly special and unique in the Central Valley.  As in all fitness studios, our RIDE209 instructors are the reason why our riders get up at the crack of dawn and grind it out that evening after a long day.  We will provide you with training, exposure, and without a doubt the best cycle theater in the area.  Additionally, our compensation model for our RIDE209 instructors is the best in the area.  As your customer base grows, and the seats begin to fill, so will your income opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize, prepare and teach classes that include RIDE209 elements: music, video, choreography, performance metrics, and strength.
  • Arrive 30 minutes before class to greet your riders and to assist with set up and information for first time riders.  Start and finish your class on time.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines in accordance with RIDE209 required training.
  • Notify studio manager in the case of any planned or unplanned absence, and work with management to secure substitution arrangements
  • Actively represent yourself and RIDE209 on social media and at studio-organized events that are held periodically both within and outside the studio.
  • Work with management to hone and improve your talent.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous indoor cycling experience and/or teaching is preferred but not a prerequisite.  We encourage anyone with an encouraging, fun personality with a love for music and fitness to apply.  Public speaking or a background in performing arts is helpful, but not necessary.

RIDER EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST

Part time position.  Looking for individuals who can assist and help clients with equipment and other responsibilities that enhance customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide top of the line service to all riders
  • Work collaboratively with front desk and studio management
  • Provide constant support and engagement for and with clients
  • Responsible for daily cleaning duties in the studio
  • Assist clients with set up of bikes and other equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Must have the ability to listen to manager and take direction
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have outgoing personality
  • Must be driven to do more at all times
  • Must be flexible to work weekends, early morning and late evenings, weekend availability.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able and willing to move bikes and other equipment
  • Must be willing to clean cycle theater, strength training room, bathrooms, lobby, etc.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds

FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Part time position. Looking to hire upbeat, fun individuals with a love for fitness.  Individuals must be certified in personal training or area of fitness they will be teaching.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize, prepare, and teach fitness class.
  • Arrive 15 minutes early to greet clients. Start and finish classes on time.
  • Actively represent yourself and RIDE209 on social media and at studio-organized events that are held periodically both within and outside the studio.
  • Teach proper form and help clients with modifications based on each individual’s needs and concerns.
  • Notify studio manager in the case of any planned or unplanned absence, and work with management to secure substitution arrangements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Outgoing and personable
  • Certifications required for the type of fitness class being taught.
  • CPR certification required as well.

FRONT DESK

Part time position. Looking for personable, upbeat individuals with a passion for fitness to join our front desk team at RIDE209.  You will be the first face our clients see coming into the studio.  You will need to be available and helpful in assisting customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet each guest
  • Answer the phone, voicemail, and email in a timely manner
  • Answer questions and address complaints by clients
  • Studio tidiness
  • Assist customers in purchasing apparel and other items
  • Enhance customers experience by assisting with shoes, towels, waiver forms, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Retail or customer service experience one year
  • Weekend availability
  • Organized
  • Be able to work with software such as MindBody and FitMetrix after required training

RIDE209 NUTRITION BAR CREW

Part time position.  Looking for friendly, outgoing individuals with a love of nutrition and wellness.  These individuals are responsible for taking customer orders, preparing and serving items offered by RIDE209 NUTRITION. Our RIDE209 Nutrition crew must be available to answer customer questions regarding products and other healthy offerings provided at RIDE209.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be available to customers
  • Take orders
  • Prepare protein shakes, teas, and acai bowls.
  • Clean nutrition bar area: counters, floors, tables, glasses, utensils, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Weekend availability
  • Outgoing
  • Hardworking
